Lynette graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders in 1996 at Western Kentucky University and obtained a Master of Arts Degree in Hearing and Speech Sciences in 1999 from Ohio University.

Lynette brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her practice. She has been in the field of speech -language pathology for almost 25 years. Lynette has worked across settings including public schools for 13 years, private practice, hospitals, home health, rehab centers, AAC clinic, and early intervention. She has provided intervention to children with autism, expressive/receptive language delays/disorders, articulation/phonological disorders, fluency disorders, pragmatic disorders, and reading disorders.   In addition, Lynette has worked with adults diagnosed with aphasia, traumatic brain injury, dementia, voice disorders, and dysphagia.  

Lynette has held a Kentucky State Teaching Certificate for Teaching Exceptional Children. She is a long-standing member of the American Speech Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed in the state of Texas as a speech-language pathologist. In addition, Lynette belongs to various ASHA special interest groups and has been awarded the ASHA ACE awards (Award for Continuing Education).

In her spare time, Lynette enjoys spending time with her 3 daughters and husband, Dan, traveling, volunteering in the Bryan/College Station area, and attending Texas A&M athletic events.

Rise Speech Therapy is located at 3206 Longmire Drive Suite A23, College Station, TX 77845. We also offer services via telehealth for patients across Texas.

At this time, Rise Speech Therapy is private pay only but we can provide clients with a monthly

Superbill that can be submitted to their insurance company for reimbursement. It is recommended to call the insurance company prior to beginning services to ensure coverage. Rise Speech Therapy is in the process of being credentialed with various insurance plans.

Yes, we offer services via telehealth for patients across Texas.

We can provide services in the home or a daycare on a case by case basis. Distance from the office (approximately 15-mile radius of the office) is considered when determining if services can be provided.

Yes, weekend appointments are available.

Cancellations/No Show: Please call at least 24 hours in advance to cancel your appointment.  We reserve the right to charge a cancellation/no show fee if you do not give us the 24 notice or do not show up to your scheduled appointment. 

Missed Appointments: If you cancel or do not show up for 3 sessions in a row, services will be on hold until scheduling problems are resolved.  If no contact is made for 3 weeks, your child will be discharged from all services by written notification mailed to the address on file. 

Late for Appointment: If you are late to your scheduled appointment, the therapy session will end at the regular time and you will be charged for the full session amount. 

Clinician Cancellation: If we are unable to meet at our scheduled time, we will contact you as soon as possible and every effort will be made to reschedule the appointment for the same week at a different day and time, to make up the missed session.
